Purpose of this Guide

This Financial Services Guide (FSG) is designed to assist you in deciding whether to use any of the financial services offered by Venture Wealth. It contains important information about:

  • The services we offer you.
  • How we and our associates are paid.
  • Any potential conflicts of interest we may have.
  • Our internal and external dispute resolution procedures and how you can access them.

Not Independent

Note: You should include this disclosure if you receive commissions from insurance providers. Venture Wealth receives commissions from the relevant insurer when we provide advice in relation to life insurance products. For this reason, we are not able to refer to ourselves as 'independent', 'impartial', or 'unbiased' under section 923A of the Corporations Act 2001. However, we always act in the best interests of our clients.

Our Services and Products

Venture Wealth is authorised to provide advice and deal in the following financial products:

  • Superannuation (including SMSFs)
  • Risk & Insurance (Life, TPD, Trauma, Income Protection)
  • Retirement Planning
  • Managed Investment Schemes
  • Deposit and Payment Products
  • Government Debentures, Stocks, or Bonds

The Advice Process

  1. Initial Consultation: We discuss your current situation and goals.
  2. Statement of Advice (SOA): If we provide personal advice, we will present it in a written SOA, outlining our recommendations, the basis for them, and any associated fees or commissions.
  3. Record of Advice (ROA): For further advice, we may use an ROA which you can request at any time.

How We Are Remunerated

Venture Wealth is committed to fee transparency. You will be advised of the specific fees and commissions before we proceed with any work.

Advice Fees

  • Initial Advice Fee: A flat fee for the preparation and implementation of your Statement of Advice.
  • Ongoing Service Fee: A fee for the ongoing management and review of your financial strategy, typically charged as a flat dollar amount or a percentage of assets under management.

Commissions

  • Insurance Commissions: We may receive a commission from the insurance provider. This is not an additional cost to you and is paid by the insurer from the premium.

Professional Indemnity Insurance

Venture Wealth maintains Professional Indemnity Insurance that meets the requirements of the Corporations Act 2001 and covers the services provided by our representatives, including former representatives for work performed while they were with us.
